Taken away from the bookshelf at the Bowls Club for my Mum to read - a nice large print book. Here is my review from when I read the book many years ago.
Ruth Cracknell, one of Australia's most well known and respected actresses, writes a descriptive tale of her and husband Eric's trip to Venice. It's a sad story of her husband's illness and the journey home to Australia.
Her writing style takes some getting used to - short sentences, broken phrases - but overall, this is a good read".
