Cross the Line (Alex Cross)
4 journalers for this copy...
I got this book just for Bookcrossing and will read and or release, I don't know which yet!
I have been a Patterson fan for a long time. I really like the Alex Cross series. However, the last two Cross books have left me a bit disappointed.
I think James is to involved with his book shots and the many other authors he coauthors with. He needs to get back to what he used to do best: write books on his own

Thanks for the books.
Rock Creek Park is the scene of what looks like road rage, with a man shot dead. Alex Cross is just beginning his investigation with he's called away to another murder. Washington's chief of detectives, and Alex's former boss has been killed. With no one in charge, Bree has been selected to do the job. Cross and Bree clash with their investigative instincts and it has a negative effect on their marriage. They need to get this solved in a hurry before every-thing gets out of control. A decent read.
Bree is made Chief of Detectives when the former one is murdered. As Bree is now Alex's boss, the two don't often agree on how the cases are handled. This takes some adjusting on the marriage front and also, the investigation front. A decent read.
Released to jmsmom as a wish list tag. Enjoy!
