I was worried I'd left it too long from reading Wolf Hall and would take a while to get back into Mantel's wonderful story of Thomas Cromwell, but this totally absorbed me right from the first page. The story of the failure of Henry VIII's marriage to Anne Boleyn, steeped in historical details and political intrigue, I couldn't put this down.
