I have just finished reading the Harry Potter series for the first time in my life. I was late to the party as I didn’t start reading Harry Potter when I was at school and I’m not usually into the book vs film hype unless I’ve previously read the book before seeing too much about a film. I really like the films for the most part. This was my favourite of the series, so much so that I bought this paperback copy to take on a flight, and as my favourite, it is only right to set it free. I’m still not sure I can see what the huge fuss was about with the books. They are great but I’m not sure I’ll ever want to read them again. If anything, I would like an original Order of the Phoenix book focused on when Sirius, Lupin & the Potters were younger.
