Read for my bookgroup. A fascinating and moving book. The main protagonist is a high court judge, specialising in children's law. Full of moral questions. I really enjoyed it.

I think I could describe myself as a fan of Ian McEwan's books... so snaffled this to take to Scotland with me :)

Not my favourite of McEwan's books but I enjoyed this thought provoking medico-legal story. Could have done without the judge's relationship difficulties though the reason (a traumatic case) for her 'distancing' from her spouse was understandable.

It will be released soon!
