Quentin Jacobsen is a 17-year-old boy living in Orlando, Florida. He is about to graduate from high school with his best friends Radar and Ben until something happens in their last couple weeks of high school. Quentin is a smart boy who isn't noticed much, but his next door neighbor Margo is a different story. Margo is outgoing, popular, and sort of tough. Margo and Quentin have lived next to each other since they were little kids and were best friends until one day while leaving the park together, they found a man who had hung himself and they never talked again until one night. Margo came to Quentin's window in the middle of the night and asked him to help her get revenge on people. The day after their revenge trip Margo disappeared. This wasn't the first time Margo disappeared, but this time it felt different to Quentin. Quentin, Ben, and Radar go to Margo's house and look for clues to help find her. In my opinion, I think paper towns was a very good book but the ending doesn’t fit what the reader wants to happen and kind of brings the whole book down. I would still recommend it if you like suspense and mystery. I think this book pertains to high school students because kids want to get revenge sometimes and just live free like Margo.
