5/17/04 - Some of these are hilarious - I wasn't expecting that! The problem I have with collections like this is that I always end up adding a few more books to my "to get" list. Sigh. Anyway - the thing I like the best about this collection is that it isn't a, "sailing is wonderful and nothing ever goes wrong" kind of book - there is the story of a boat lost on the rocks due to poor decision-making, a family trip that goes awry (this is one of the funny selections), and a piece on preparing for open-water sailing. The interview with Ted Turner was pretty amazing, too.

Received today in a package of four wonderful-looking sailing books! (The boat on the cover of this book is gorgeous!) I'll read these books as quickly as I can and get them out to the next person in the ring! Thanks SO much! I'm so excited with the goody box that arrived in the mail today!
