It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post. The Storyteller

I enjoyed the book, especially Minka's story. A story that was apparently culled from many jewish people's experiences in concentration camps during the last war. It was a horrifying read. All persons were fictional characters and with this author her stories always make you think...what would you do? In this case a 95 year old ex-Nazi is openly living his life under an assumed name and he begs his new friend (the agnostic granddaughter of a jewish holocaust survivor) for forgiveness and then to kill him.
I usually prevaricate and think I don't know what I would or should do but in this story all I could think was, do not forgive and report the bastard but with this author nothing is ever really quite so straightforward!

I received the book yesterday. Thank you very much, RedDahlia, for sending it. It's now sitting on a stack of books, waiting to be read. I hope to get to it as soon as possible.

I have already read the book a while ago, but didn't get to making a journal entry up to now. I found the story very impressing. Jodi Picoult's books are nearly always very good, very well thought out and very well researched. This one is, too.
