What a strange little book. I'm not sure how to describe it- it felt a bit like a long short story rather than a novel. The characters were richly drawn for such a short work and the novel brought to life be in the south of France in the summer. However, it felt a bit like watching a David Lynch movie with dreamlike imagery Can't say that I truly liked the book, but it definitely will stay with me.

Starting to read this today....Was quite dreamy and atmospheric. Disturbing at times, worth the read.
