I wasn't sure at first that I liked this book. In fact, about halfway through, I thought I might skip to the end because all I wanted to know was whether Norah ever cam back home. But instead, I started to get caught up in the story. The narrator stopped seeming so self-absorbed and introspective and started to talk more about the light comic novel she was writing and I found that very interesting in light of what was happening in th character's own life. So I kept reading and the second half went by quickly.
There was a lot to think about with this book, though I'm not sure my own themes quite match the ones the narrator grapples with.

On the couch outside. Enjoy!
