5 women meet in a hospital ward in West London. 5 strangers from widely different backgrounds, forced by cramp conditions into passing intimacy that will nevertheless spark off rivalries as well as set th foundations of enduring friendship.
Wonderful story about the lives of 5 women that make friends and are connected in so many different ways though they did not realize it until afterwards. A compelling read with an ending I didn't really want to happen though.
