A Man For All Seasons
1 journaler for this copy...
This was assigned summer reading. I didn't really enjoy it because I don't usually enjoy any reading that they MAKE me read. This isn't the copy I read though. I was cheap and borrowed it from the library over the summer. Three months after I had to read it, I find it athe used book sale for 50¢! It's in good condition, too, unless you count some minor on the cover art. I guess some student didn't like this book much either.
This is a play about Thomas More, a staunch Catholic who refuses to acknowledge King Henry VIII's supremacy over everyone else...including the Pope. There's emphasis on principles, honesty, and all that shabazz. Even though the language wasn't difficult, I had trouble envisioning the scenes, and just getting into the book in general. One day I'll read Utopia by More, and hopefully I'll like it better than this.

It's lying on top of a pile of blue flannel shirts, that are on sale for $19.99. I think the brand is Moose Creek. Something like that.
