This spans the second World War all the way to the present. Fredrick Forsyth goes back and forth bringing characters together to keep the reader guessing as to how the Avenger will actually pull off the mission. It gives a new insight into some of the Bosnia/Kosovo battles and slaughter as well as the mindset behind Al Qaeda. The author of DAY of the JACKAL and The FOURTH PROTOCOL does it again! A very good read!
