This is an exhaustive look at number theory and the history of mathematics. The author details the way in which the study of numbers has influenced the way in which society views scientific discovery in general and mathematics in particular.

I have recently been very interested in what goes on in the mathematical mind ever since I started reading "A Beautiful Mind". This is very fascinating stuff.

Although I have not completed this book (its pretty slow going), I plan to release it once I have finished it.
