Picked up this book at the Calgary BookCrossing July meet-up. I immediately thought of the Red Shirts on Star Trek when I heard the premise of this book. Hopefully the characters fare better here.

This was a cool book. Going in, I expected one thing and the book delivered something completely different. That's always fun. The world is completely thought out, which I always enjoy. If the author takes the time to build a believable world, then the rest follows easily. And there wasn't too much Red Shirt-y-ness.
