I bought this book new almost 15 years ago and have only read it twice. I'd say it's a poor man's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - only it's a lot more cynical and nihilistic. I could just be rose-tinting since it's been such a long time since I last read it though. I enjoyed it anyway.
This book's the paperback edition and is still in fairly good condition. To be dropped off at The Nag's Head on my next trip.
