Jan Karon brings the characters alive that live in and around Mitford. This is the first in The Mitford Series I plan to release. I have read and immensely enjoyed each book in the series. I loved these warm stories so much I purchased the hard cover editions for my personal library. Father Tim, his beloved dog Barnabas, the attractive neighbor who moved next door, Father Tim's "Buddies" at the Main Street Grill and an adorable boy who has been abandoned by the world make a great introduction into the lives of Mitford 's Community. I hope you enjoyed these characters I have come to know as old reading friends as much as I did.
