The author has an unusual premise for this book: talking to and trying to understand families that have found ways to come to terms with their problems and find solutions. The stories are often compelling, although some are more interesting than others. Inside this copy of the book, which I bought used at a library sale somewhere, I found a boarding pass, google map directions, and a funeral schedule. It seemed particularly interesting that someone would choose this book to read on their way to a funeral.
