Another outing for John Connolly's fictional detective Charlie Parker. Connolly's creation is a complex mixture of crime novel and the horror novel. Whilst you wouldn't necessarily need to be have read other novels featuring Charlie Parker - the familiarity of his fictional companions enhances the story. All in all a good read.
