What a fantastic book. Unfortuantly even Amazon don't sell it anymore, so I feel that I should release it soon so that others get a chance to read it.
The two main characters fall victim to a new virus spreading across America, Angelism. They don't turn into Angels (though they call themselves such), they just grow wings. But the ability to fly brings new prejudices. Each Angel believes that accepting their Angel self will lead to happiness, without realising that it is the Human self they already had that they need to accept. Each character, particuarly the two protaganists, is rich in depth and detail, and the story had me gripped right through to the end. One of the best parts has got to be where Zander wakes up after months of sleep to find he has grown wings. It's absoloutly hilarious but at the same time his despair and fear is utterly believable. One of the best books I've read in years.
