I highly recommend this ghost story. The main characters are an antiquarian bookseller and a little boy who is a ghost. It reads very quickly (204 pages).

Found at Karsmakers (baggle restaurant just off the Place du Luxembourg). Was just looking at their shelves, saw the title (book is on my wishlist) and just picked it up.
