If delayed make sure to let us know so that the ring will not stop.

Participants:
- pippis, Finland, chocolate: I love almost any kind of chocolate, but I really don't like orange in it, it's the only thing that makes me pass the treat forward.. I'd love to try new chocolates, so any from outside Finland would be great.
- Releanna, Austria, chocolate: I like most kinds of chocolate. What I don't like: whole nuts and nut splitters (only creamy nut-fillings), anything "meat"-like (greaves etc.) I always like to try new things, so chocolate specifically from the country of the sender would be very much appreciated :)
- star69, England, chocolate: I like milk or white chocolate. Don't like dark chocolate or chocolate with fruit.
- ossiefry, Portugal, chocolate: I love any kind of chocolate, but I'm specialty curious in trying strange ones (not very easy to get were I live). I am also craving for chocolate I used to eat when I was in the UK, I can't remember the names, but things like chocolate mice, and those lovely little chocolate buttons with little colourful balls on top!
- Bloedengel, Belgium, chocolate: There is no ... chocolate I don't like.
- Smurphie, Scotland, chocolate: The only chocolate that I don't like is with nuts of chilli in it.
- disneyfreaksam, England, chocolate: I like any white or milk chocolate, any flavours. Just no dark chocolate for me.
- Simson-Shilitoe, France, chocolate: open for all kinds of chocolate
- ApoloniaX, Germany, chocolate: pref. organic and/or fair trade (if possible); any kind, milk or dark or white, with nuts or ginger or chili or lemon or whatever, I like to try out new, crazy sorts, but no bacon chocolate - I'm vegetarian

It's here! The book alone looks good enough to eat :) I actually read it already yesterday night and found a few old favourite phrases along with a few new witty ones. Still, Miss Piggy's advise remains my favourite...
Anyway, I didn't have to eat the book, as there was loads of chocolate!! But not just any kind of chocolate - BEER CHOCOLATE!!! My jaw dropped to the floor as I read the wrapping, my goodness what a weird but tempting treat! Not only that, there was also ginger-pepper-choc, gingerbread-choc, small vanilla- and nougat blocks and the nicest cockroaches I've ever come across - chocolate ones! Thank you ever so much, ApoloniaX!!! My Saturday night will be a feast thanks to all these treats... I'll get the book moving asap with some sweet surprises!

WOW! What a fantastic parcel this is! Thank you so much, pippis!

The book is really cute and I'll have a hard time deciding for a favorite quotation!
But then there are: a milk-chocolate bar, a lemon-yoghurt-bar, three large chunks of blueberry, strawberry and passionfruit (one each - see pic) - those smelled delicious already when opening the envelope!) and the weirdest chocolate I've seen: crisp bread with a white chocolate filling!
And a card that says: Things are getting worse. Please send chocolate.
thanks again, this weekend will be a chocolate feast *ggg*

White mice, white chocolate coins, a box of roses, a bar of cookie crumble chocolate and a bar of lemon meringue chocolate, I can hardly decide which to open first... :) :) :) The parcel also had a chocolate themed bookmark and a chocolate... (ok, forgot the word... what do you call those things that you put on a table to put glasses on top of?)
I'm now going to pm the next participant and then off to buy some chocolates to fill the next parcel!

My favourite quote is the one on 'my figure being an hourglass and the sands shifted in/by time' as I am an hourglass myself. A pretty large one that is :) LOL

I forgot to write down my favourite quote from this book, sorry!

It is In the Cookies of life, friends are the chocolate chips :o)

Glad you enjoyed all your goodies.

Journal Entry 20 by Simson-Shilitoe at Neewiller-près-Lauterbourg, Alsace France on Saturday, February 19, 2011
I found this unexpected package from England in today`s mail. First I thought of a bookring ("RUT") from England in which I am signed up, too. But the closed package had such a different feeling from all other packages with books inside. When I saw the address of the sender it remind me of this special bookring.

I nearly missed this tiny little book amongst all the big chocolates (bigger than a continental bar) in this package:

- Milk chocolate with hole hazelnuts
- Milk chocolate with crispy bits of honeycomb
- White chocolate

A BIG THANK YOU, disneyfreaksam, for posting and the delicious the chocolates which sweeten my day!

And a BIG THANK YOU, ApoloniaX, for sharing and organizing.

Journal Entry 21 by Simson-Shilitoe at Neewiller-près-Lauterbourg, Alsace France on Monday, February 21, 2011
My favourite quote from this book is:

"May all your pleasures become habits."

Oh, and I hope you can forgive me as I did a little sin. I tasted some of the chocolate not while reading but while watching and downloading the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix 1984 on www.youtube.com won by my all times favourite driver Alain Prost.

I had some problems to choose the right chocolate because I live in Germany and the next person, ApoloniaX, lives in Germany, too. So I went to Lauterbourg / France (23 kilometres from the village where I live) in December to find some French chocolates.

Posting to ApoloniaX as soon as I get an address.

The ring has come back home... and I've hit the chocolate jackpot!!!
I just picked up a heavy package from the post office... full of French chocolate bars... all kinds, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, litchi (!) chocolate, orange, rice, raisins, coco, ... (all on the photo). I'm totally delighted. Thank you so much, Simson-Shilitoe.
And thanks to everybody on this ring for sending on the little book and loads of chocolate so reliably. So many rings get stalled, so I'm all the happier that this one has worked out so well.
