Bounty-hunter Stephanie Plum has to track down Mo, the local candy store owner who has jumped bail. Nobody will believe that Mo has done anything wrong, but Stephanie - with the help of big blonde Lula and good cop/bad cop Joe Morelli - soon discovers that Mo has more than candy in his basement.

I love the Stephanie-Plum-books! And I discovered them thanks bookcrossing and especially thanks KatColorado!:-)) This is (as the title says), the third book. And: They get better!

I LOVE you!

Journal Entry 3 by elhamisabel from Frankfurt am Main, Hessen Germany on Sunday, February 19, 2006
Wohoo! Though Morelli was less exiting than during the previous two books, I'm still impressed. ;-)
Ranger starts to grow on me but the pony tail is a serious drawback.
Let's see what's going to happen in future.

Brilliant book, I just love her family especially Grandma. It certainly gave me a laugh about her boyfriend.

I really love the Stephaine Plum series of books and this one was no exception. I especially love the humour. Off to YowlYY next.

Journal Entry 14 by YowlYY on Monday, July 17, 2006
This has just arrived, thanks to purplerosebud for be that fast! I am currently at p.157 of "Two for the Dough", so what I am going to do is to take this with me on Friday, when I am flying to Germany, and mail it back to the lovely ringmaster from there :) I am sure that it will provide me with endless occasions for incontrollable giggling - nevermind being looked at by people who think I must have lost my marbles... LOL!

Journal Entry 15 by YowlYY on Monday, July 31, 2006
I read it almost in one go, and once again it was fun! In this one, Stephanie works closely with Lula in what seems to start as an easy case, but ends up with lots of trouble, even for Rex!! That scene when the hamster is held hostage was really scary....brrrr!!
And I was pleased to see that Morelli made some progress with Stephanie...even if the end wasn't what he expected :D
Again, another very funny read, and now I am waiting for Vol.4 to arrive.
I shall mail this back to the kind ringmaster together with the other books, in a few weeks time, all in one parcel :)

I've heard of Janet Evanovich for a long time, but have never read any of her books. I'm looking forward to reading the three that I picked up at the Meetup today. :) Thanks!

Journal Entry 22 by tracyshannon from El Paso, Texas USA on Thursday, March 1, 2007
This was a fun read. It started out a little slow, but I was really into it for the last third of the book. The picture on the back cover of Rex the Hamster in an ice cream cone is too cute!

Journal Entry 23 by wingd-vinelandwing from Mainz, Rheinland-Pfalz Germany on Monday, March 26, 2007
Be aware of candy store owners! The charakters are a bit over the top, but quite likeable.
Don't worry to much about the hamster. Are cover-texts written by people who just read 10 arbirtrary sentences? (Nice idea, though. Maybe I could do Beta-JEs with that method).

Given to a BC/Non-BC-friend.
