A little about me....
When I was very young I told my mother that when I died I wanted to go to book heaven so I could read all the dead (out-of-print) books. Things haven't changed much since then. I collect books of all kinds, though I'm partial to ones with interesting handwritten inscriptions. I also like old paranormal/occult books; they amuse me to no end.

Other interests and hobbies... are many and varied but include swing dancing, knitting, writing and playing music, movies, traveling, alternative education, hiking, cooking, and art in general. I was a homeschooler/unschooler almost my entire life, have now earned two Associate's degrees and am currently finishing a Bachelor's. I work at a local library (go figure).

I'm on GoodReads! Check my profile here

I am willing to trade anything on my bookshelf marked "available," just PM me. If you're interested in a TBR book, let me know -- there's a good chance I'll be able to hurry up and read it. Please note that I prefer to send within the U.S. or Canada (although I may be able to send internationally from time to time).

I use the wishlist for any books I cannot find in my library system or at local bookstores. I am also always looking for books about:
- Sign language or deaf culture
- Unitarian Universalism
- Knitting
- Bibliophilia/book collecting
- Food (foodie fiction and non-fiction, or interesting cookbooks)
- Dowsing and using divining rods
- Herbs (gardening, cooking, medicinal, wild)
- Hobby farming and/or self-sustainability

I am a member of RABCK.com (lovely place).
