I liked this book tremendously -- so did my 50ish cousin and my aunt in her 60s and my other 8-year-old cousin. We are all hooked on the series.

This is Harry's third year at Hogwarts. He's got good friends, and he knows how to get along in school. He and his friends have twice defeated he-who-must-not-be-named. However, nothing stays the same. This time he has to worry about Sirius Black, the escaped prisoner of Azkaban.

With each book, I get more involved in this magical world. I have to admit that I can't help admiring Hermione more and more. She is what I would like to have been at her age. I love watching her develop along with Harry and Ron.

I really admire Rowling's ability to create such a wonderful, amazing, and complete world of magic. I can't wait for her to finish all 7 books.

Mail release to IrasCignavojo; shipped 20031001 via sea mail.

Arrived by mail - everything was fine until it arrived here in Tübingen, when the mailman chose to leave it out in the rain, where the enveloppe got soaked... *sigh* But I pressed it on my shelf, between the volumes of Tolkiens "History of Middle Earth" and now it looks quite pristine.

A wonderful book, the best in the series IMHO, even though I'd rather read a new adventure of Harry Potter than reread the ones I've read before. This is going to be bookring for german Harry Potter fans. PM me, if interested.
