Well, Cussler is tryomg to challenge other "cliffhanger-writers"; he tries to move along this path, but it lacks something. Better to stay on, in and around the water... Anyway action from the first to the last page...

Two weeks to arrive from Germany, rather longer than normal! At least it arrived safely, thanks so much for providing me with yet another title for my husband book-man-8.
Another enjoyable and readable adventure in the Oregon series, although my husband thinks not as good as some of the earlier titles in the series.
It is a fast paced story involving plenty of supense and intrigue along with battles at sea.
Thanks once again for sharing book-man-8, now on its way home again to you before going on its international travels.

What a way to start my weekend! I got a call and all the vegetable plants I had ordered for my garden (tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and melons)were available for pick-up. Then when I got to the mailbox, I saw that my prescription sunglasses (that I lost temporarily) had arrived and tucked behind that box was Corsair. So now I'm gonna put on my shades, grab a beer, plant my garden and then put my feet up and start reading the next exciting adventure of Juan Cabrillo and the Oregon crew.
Thanks for sharing Book-man-8! Oh, and my daughter thanks you for the postage stamps. :-)

Well, that was an exciting tale! It certainly was action packed from beginning to end. I found myself staying up late at night with my booklight on (so I didn't disturb by husband) because I couldn't find a good stopping point. Thanks, book-man-8, for sharing this book. I am heading off to the post office, soon, to send Corsair off to its next port of call where perryfran is awaiting its arrival.

Received in the mail today. Thanks book-man-8 for another of your action bookrays and imawinn2 for sending it on. Also, thanks for the nice bookmark! I have a few rings in front of this one but hope it won't be too long - looking forward (as usual) to another Cussler actioner.
Really enjoyed this one! Non-stop action from start to finish. There were several story-lines going throughout the book and I thought they were all well-done. These included the first part of the book about the capture of a Somalian pirate - then the main story-line of the terrorists who capture the Secretary of State on her way to a Libyan peace conference and the quest for the Barbary pirate's or "Corsair's" lost writings that could help pave the way for peace. Some of this was straight out of Indiana Jones - especially the booby-trapped cave with the lost pirate's treasure, but even with the very far-fetched situations and outcomes, this overall was a great action novel. I read on the internet that Jack Du Brul was really the main author of this book - writing from an outline by Cussler. Du Brul has written several books on his own - I may try to find some of these to see if they hold up with the books he has written with Cussler. The Oregon File novels are great!
Thanks again book-man-8 for including me in this ray. I have Tinina67's address and will get this in the mail to her.

Fast paced, action non stop, a typical popcorn book that I read in two days. I enjoy this kind of books like I enjoy good action movies, though I prefer Dirk Pitt! ;-)
Will send on asap.

This book has been sitting waiting to be passed on, I have become a traitor to paper books and now have a kindle reader so all my REAL books are being donated to charities, given away to friends or dropped off at a Bookcrossing drop off point. This one is going to Kava Cafe in Waihi New Zealand on Saturday 17th December 2016 to add to their books for their customers all ready for the tourist season, hope the tourists will post on Bookcrossing. If you see any books on my bookshelf that you would like please contact me.
