We have moved house, so I am a bit slow answering my PMs at the moment, but I will answer them!
I love books - I really do. There is nothing (nearly nothing) better than reading a good book. (Whatever good means to you.)
One of my earliest memories of reading: hiding in the wardrobe of my mother with a pillow, my teddy, a torch and my favourite book, so I can read in peace and my sisters don't disturb me! :-)
Today I can read without hiding in a wardrobe, though sometimes my cat demands quality time and that means undevided attention (my husband demands this too from time to time. ;-))
I am a pretty enthusiastic bookcrosser: I like to trade, take part in and organize bookrings and -rays, RABCK etc.
There are a lot of incredibly generous and friendly bookcrossers out there, but I also have my own little "blacklist" with people who stall, cheat or are simply careless/thoughtless/annoying/rude or just from a different planet.
I went to the 2009 World Convention in Christchurch, NZ. I had a great time and made some friends. There is a site on flickr with lots of convention photos - just visit my flickr site if you want to have a look.
