Not even sure where I got this, but I assume I mooched it to travel with another book from my wishlist.

Rather a creepy book, at times. I'm very pleased that extremely early on I pegged the guilty party... and began to suspect the twist pretty quickly too. (I don't want to create a spoiler so won't say more). The pretty pairing off of all the characters was a bit overly Shakespeare comedy-like, but I suppose it was to be expected. The atmosphere is very well-described, and the characters are appealing. A good holiday read. The book is stored -in Glasgow where I read it.

After returning to Switzerland from Glasgow, this came back to London yesterday and now, thanks to bookmooch heads off to Ireland. Quite the journey! Enjoy!
