Das Gute daran, dass ich die letzten beiden Nächte vor'm WC verbracht habe, ist wohl: Ich bin beim Hören nicht eingeschlafen. Blöd nur, dass mein März-Doktor nun zu Ende ist. Aber dann kann er auch gleich reisen: Wenn jemandem der Doppelpack zu viel wird, so möge er sich einfach 2 Monate dafür Zeit lassen :-)

Will Thorp played Toby Zed in "The Satan Pit" and "The Impossible Planet", which were, if I remember right, featuring the 10th Doctor and Rose.
I think, he's doing an excellent job, esp. reading the Doctor.

Nevertheless, I didn't like the story very much. The basic concept, yes. But for my taste, there were too many deads, too much destruction. Also Barbara and Toaster - I liked the idea of them - seemed to be misplaced in such a gloomy story, esp Toaster fighting the Albino Bats. They didn't cheer me up at all.

Tardis arrived in twin. Which one is the first I'll listen to, which one, which one, which one?

I loved the plot. When humans give technic the impression to belong to the family and call them their slaves when being alone, gives a good few inside a charackter.
A fast plot and a good read makes that a jewel for me.

After being a little bit disappointed with the last two or three DW-audiobooks I listened to I enjoyed this one very much. Fast paced, gripping, witty and well read. Thanks for sharing, Schneefee!

Ich habe zu den zwei Schneefee-Ringen noch frech Teil 3 meiner DW-Spirale geschummelt. Hoffentlich bekommt DieHenkerin jetzt keinen Schreck, wenn sich gleich ein dreifacher Doctor in ihrem Briefkasten materialisiert.

Wow! So viel Doctor Who! :) Da muss ich mich ja gleich in den Hausputz stürzen oder an die Bügelwäsche machen. *g* Mit dem Doctor geht das nämlich alles viel leichter!

Ever since Terminator I don't like the thought of machines becoming selfconcious, though I liked Toaster and Barbara - and the humans cast quite a damning light on themselves. This story wasn't overwhealming, but I'd really love to see this episode on TV, just to hear the big ... (No, I won't say it, I will not write any spoilers!)

Da war meine Doctor Who Infizierung fast abgeflaut (ok ja, Bildschirmhintergrund, Handyhintergrund, Klingelton, Musik der 4. Staffel in der Stereoanlage... aber immerhin hab ich schon wieder Interesse für Anderes, z.B. Bücher und Sport wiedergefunden), und dann schneien mir drei Hörbücher ins Haus, pünktlich fürs Wochenende... mal kucken ob ich wieder völlig in die Sucht abstürze ;-) Und die Hörbücher sind auch noch mit meinem Lieblingsdoctor... (mit dem 11. hab ich mich noch nicht so ganz angefreundet).
Vielen lieben Dank fürs Schicken und Verringen, wird sicher sehr bald weiterreisen können.

This is not one of my favourite Doctor Who stories. I mean yes this series is fun and not all that serious, but a heroic sunbed, come on? It was to farfetched for me (yes that IS possible). Anyway it apperently is designed to have a sequel...

What else could it mean - Barbara and the Domovoj... in a couple of years or a melenia back or whenever the Doctor will have to face her, stop her from taking over the univers. What I can´t help wondering: Is the boy even a boy, a robot or a cyborg? I was surprised only that he didn´t turn out to be a robot in the crash like his mother - I was expecting that.
In all a bit too forseeable and too farfetched. But still it passed the time while cooking, there are worse audiobooks out there. And I guess it helps to improve my English, so what?

Schon vor zwei Tagen zusammen mit den beiden anderen Doctor Who Hörbüchern zu SaschaBWk weiter geschickt. Da werden die Hörbücher schon sehnsüchtig erwartet habe ich den Eindruck. Viel Spaß beim Hören! Danke für den Ring!

I have to agree with most JEs here. The story was not bad, but had some weak points. I liked the reader and the atmosphere, and had no problems with the deaths, but the plot was not very convincing.

Sicher und trocken angekommen, trotz undichtem Briefkasten. -.- Vielen lieben Dank für den Ring Schneefee und Sascha für das Senden! Ich bin sehr gespannt drauf. :)

Von dem Dreifachpack (Wooden Heart/Wet World) gefällt mir das hier am wenigsten... schwierig, sich an den Sprecher zu gewöhnen (der den Doktor teilweise sehr unsympathisch gesprochen hat), ziemlich vorhersehbar, die zwei Roboter-Freunde waren ein bisschen albern, ein paar Wendungen einfach nur doof (Situation: das bösartige Haus kontrolliert alle Roboter und will uns töten! Protagonisten: Lasst uns zwei Roboter überall hin mitnehmen, sie sind sicher unsre Freunde! ...) und wie am Ende das Weltraumfressmonster abgewehrt wird... ehrlich, ich glaub, da hat der Schreiber nur vergessen, sein Skript zu überarbeiten.
Naja.
Reist bald weiter. :)
