I have taken a look into this book twice, in English and in Finnish. Translation was good, but naturally the original is the best one.

Eli sain tämän Mirzulta. Kauan sitä olikin jo odotettu.

Sattumoisista syistä pääsin koneelle vasta tänään, joten tämä tieto tulee hieman myöhään. Hymn. Mutta kuitenkin. Olen jo päässyt onnellisesti sivulle 194 ja tähän asti olen pitänyt kovastikin. Vaikka alku oli nimeen nähden hieman hämäävä. Gaiman on kuitenkin Gaiman.

Pitäisi luovuttaa eteenpäin luovutettavaksi jo parin viikon päästä, mutta vaikka kyseessä on monisatasivuinen englanninkielinen teos, niin en usko siinä tulevan ongelmia - sen vertaa mielenkiintoista tekstiä.

Laebeth postitti tämän paksun kirjan minulle. Menee TBR-pinoon, koska ennen joulua EI ehdi lukea sitten mitään.

I've read it about hundred pages and I have to say that so far I like very much.

Wow, this one really kept me up half the night. I think I like it more than Stardust, maybe even more than Neverwhere. Maybe it's the Norse gods, they always get me. :) And I liked the list of things Sam said she believed in, it it's true that nowadays we can believe such many things, even contradictory to each other. (Btw, if anyone know if there's really word 'contradictory' in english, tell me :)

um. sorry for holding on to this for two whole months, but i haven't been in a reading mode of late (well, for yonks and yonks), and so the six hundred or so pages presented a challenge.

i liked the book from the start, but perhaps because i was reading so sporadically couldn't really get into it. it wasn't until i fell ill and could stay in all day that i got quite excited about the story, and so the last couple of hundred pages practically flew by.

so. great book. interesting. entertaining. educational, even. neverwhere's still my favourite so far, though.
