1992 Delacorte hardcover, with dust jacket, of the entry in the "nameless" San Francisco detective series. In this one, an Italian girl goes missing in the lascivious underworld, reeling our hero into a trap which might add his own epitaph to those popping up around him all of a sudden. I found this copy yesterday in the Haley Little Free Library in Castro Valley.
