A Prayer for Owen Meany
8 journalers for this copy...
The story of Owen Meany is funny and touching, with moments where I wanted to jump in and protect poor Owen, but times when I wanted to shake him and ask what on earth he thought he was doing. At the age of eleven, he accidently kills his best friend's mother. The story of his life is written by that best friend. It's original and surprising as well as entertaining.
I'm going to organise a bookray for this. I'll send it out to the first person in the first week of August.

I've discovered this book is on the wishlist of davemurray101 so I'll pass it to him to read while it's waiting for its first library loan.

Perfect timing!

As I've had this book for 11 years now and it's never been requested, and as the 1001 library on bookcrossing seems to be defunct, I will be finding a new home for it, by whatever means.
