Married, with 2 grown children and 3 Pugs, I have lived in New Zealand for 23 years....previously from South Africa.
I enjoy reading most genres except Sci-fi/Fantasy and Chick-lit and am always keen to try new authors.
The books on my shelves do, more or less, reflect my reading tastes, although some are books my husband has contributed and which wouldn't really interest me (Dale Brown, Tom Clancy, etc.) If I have sent you a book, it's yours to do what you want with. Nice if they are passed to another Bookcrosser, but I have no problem with them being wild-released either :)
I release a lot of my books at the Howick Post Office (in the P O Box lobby at the back), because it's indoors and dry, especially during our rainy winters. Although not many of the books get journalled, they do get taken away and read, and then are quite often returned, weeks, or even months later, for someone else to take. I'm happy with that, even though a few more journal entries would be welcome!
Hints for the Birthday group:
Chocolate, postcards, interesting fridge magnets, anything Pug related, chocolate, release labels, Wings, I like elephants, surprises, and did I mention chocolate?
