Released for READ - Respond in Earnest Action for Darfur Challenge (http://www.bookcrossing.com/mybookshelf/goldem1217/) to support the refugees and internally displaced persons of the Darfur, Sudan region who have suffered from genocide since 2003. This book and others are to be released at the Colonies North Elementary School Cultures Fair on May 23, 2008. After learning about the culture of Sudan and the millions in Darfur who have been displaced from their homes, those attending the event will be encouraged to pick up a book for themselves, family members, or friends.
