Blizz is a lovable little toy, he does what other stuffed toys do, relax, sleep, play, etc. He was rescued from a box at a garage sale, and I took him into my home. He was 4 siblings, 2 sisters and a brother, Ariel, Tosha, and Ramesz, all rescued from various garage sales (Blizz and Ramesz we rescued together).

Now Blizz wants to travel the world and see different places, see what bookcrossers do in their daily lives, etc. Will you be one of the stops on his journey?

This is how it's going to work (its a journal bookring):

1. Someone ahead of you on this list will PM for your address, PM them back with your address.

2. When you recieve it, journal it to let us know it's safe.

3. Blizz will travel with you for a day, where every you go (work, school, grocery shopping, etc). Write it down in the journal that is travelling with Blizz, you may include pictures if you want (It is not mandatory)I just ask that you write the date, and your BC name on the back so its organized, you can write whats happening in the picture, etc.

4. Please make sure that you do not hold on to blizz for more then 2-3 weeks, if you needed longer journal and PM that you need more time but keep in mind that there are other people eagered to write and Blizz os eager to see new places.

5. When your done, PM the next person to get their address and send it off to them. just journal here that Blizz is off on his way.

6. If you are the last person on the ring, then PM me and I will give my address so you can send Blizz home.

After the ring is dones, I'll have a look at everything and maybe try to get on a website site for everyone to see, if this doesn't work then I'll offer it as a ring to whoever participates to see what everyone wrote.

NOTE: If you are overloaded with books to read or have something else going on in your life and can't take in Blizz, then PM and the person who asked for your address to skip you and if you want to be moved down in the list (If permitted) then I can certainly do that.

Also if you PM the next person and they don't respond in 7-10 days then just skip them, there just missing out.

PM me if you have any questions.

This is going to be an international journal bookring, so PM with your shipping preferences to join. Blizz can't wait for his trip around the world.

NOTE: Please do not use sharpies, markers or rainbow pens, and write as legibily as you can so we can read your exciting adventures with you can Blizz. Also, if the journal is about full and there are bookcrossers ahead of you then PM me to let me know and I can send a new journal to the next participant, while I'm doing that, then send Blizz to that next participant.

Blizz has started his journey today, I just came back from the post office where I wished him well. I feel sorry for him though, I couldn't find a box for him, so now he is now quite cormfortable in an envelope but you guys are welcome to put him in a box if possible.

Have a great trip Blizz!

Well, Blizz has been here for a while, but I only received the next address a few days ago (darn PM system!). Blizz and I didn't get to the meet up like planned, so maybe Blizz can come back to Waterloo again and we can get to the meet up then!

Journal Entry 6 by babsdotter from Sparta, Missouri USA on Wednesday, August 9, 2006
Blizz arrived by mail today. Actually some of his pictures got here a few days ago. I don't know what adventure he has planned for here...we'll see.

Blizz and I traveled to Branson today. We did wild releases for the Hotel, Motel No-Tell Challenge and the Movie Title Challenge. As Branson is a tourist town, no one paid any attention while I took a few pictures of the little stuffed guy during our outing. I'll send him and his journal on as soon as I get the pictures back.

<-- The Caloosahatchee Bridge in Fort Myers!

Blizz has arrived safely with his journal at the "Dove i Libri" home here in sunny Fort Myers, Florida!

MandaJo wrote: "Blizz will be taking off now to visit Dove i Libri and her boys. Hopefully, that will be a relaxing experience!"

Silly MandaJo! Don't you know that NOTHING around here is EVER calm and relaxing? Poor Blizz is about to have another exhausting visit!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

We finally got back the photos of Blizz's visit all developed (properly, this time, after a disappointing try the first time and a return trip to Walgreen's!) and went to the post office to send Blizz on the next part of his journey, but ... We forgot! Saturday was Veteren's Day and it is always observed *ON* the 11th, NOT the Monday after! So, guess what! The post office was CLOSED! He was sent off today, instead! Happy Traveling, Blizz! have fun in Virginia!

I am soooo sorry for keeping Blizz so long. I am on my knees beffing forgiveness, and I feel really bad for holding him and all of you up for so long. I misplaced my battery charger for my camera and wanted to take pictures of him. I just found it a couple weeks ago, and now he is ready to travel again.

Update: I PMed Bibliocrates once and waited for a reply but didn't get one...the PM system isn't always reliable...so I PMed again and now Blizz is on his way to Bibliocrates for another adventure!

Blizz arrived safely here in Alabama today. Thank you for sending him to us gomboggit. I hope he will enjoy spending time here with us. I know my kids axonn, MasterYoda, and lilisilly, have been eagerly awaiting his arrival. It's raining here right now, so I don't think we'll be going anywhere today. We'll take him out when the weather is better.

Journal Entry 20 by lilisilly from Trinity, Alabama USA on Friday, March 2, 2007
When my mommy told me Blizz was here I was very happy. We didn't take him anywhere at first because it was too cold and stormy, but we did take him out with us last Friday. First, we went out to eat at La Hacienda, one of my mommy's favorite Mexican restaurants. Then, we went to see 'Night at the Museum' at Regal River Oaks Cinema 8 in Decatur. It was a very good movie. One of my favorite parts of the movie was when the big dinosaur acted like a dog. That was funny. After the movie, we went to Sonic Drive-In and ordered Sonic Blasts for everyone to take home to eat for desert. I had an Oreo Sonic Blast. They are delicious! Blizz had a good time. He has been sleeping with me every night since he got here and in the day I keep in safe and snug in my pocket. I've been taking very good care of him.

Journal Entry 21 by MasterYoda from Trinity, Alabama USA on Thursday, March 8, 2007
I did not get to spend much time with Blizz because my little sister hogged him the whole time. Plus, I have been sick with a fever.

Journal Entry 22 by axonn from Trinity, Alabama USA on Thursday, March 8, 2007
Blizz hung out with me a little bit while I was home sick from school, watched me play video games.

Journal Entry 23 by Bibliocrates from Pueblo, Colorado USA on Thursday, March 8, 2007
Poor Blizz! We didn't really get a chance to do anything very exciting while he was here with us, but I hope he had fun anyway. The weather has been awfully stormy. Plus, our house was full of family visiting from out of state when he arrived, bad timing I guess. The weather finally did clear, as did our house, but then the kids got sick. Hopefully, his time with ktwalker’s kids will be a bit more exciting.

Thank you for sharing Blizz with us darkpunkangel. I have sprayed him with Lysol and have packed him up nice and snug. He will be on his way to the United Kingdom shortly.

Hallo! :)

My neighbour spotted me as I was leaving the house to head to the library to check my emails, which was lucky! I'll have a proper peruse of the contents of the package soon, and I have plenty of film on my camera so I should be able to take some pics soon. :)

Thanks very much, Blizz is awesome and so cute!!

2nd July 2007
Well, he's been to Glastonbury festival and so far has escaped the mud! :) As my camera film isn't used up, I'll be able to organise the whole book/journal thing with photos and digitals once my birthday celebration has passed, hopefully in a week or so. :)

21st August 2007
Deepest apologies for the delay, took me a while to finish the film! It's in the shop now, I can pick it up in 2 days time, and then I'll stick some in and send it all off. Bless Blizz, he's had a good long rest on my TBR shelf!

25th August 2007
Mistake at the photo developing place, should be with me tomorrow... :S

29th August 2007

Journal Entry 30 by book-man-8 from Tübingen, Baden-Württemberg Germany on Wednesday, October 31, 2007
Blizz is here, sound and well. The times are presently quite hectic, so Blizz might have to breathe the air of Tuebingen for a little bit longer than planned...
