Anne Lamott was my muse just seven short years ago. Although she can still make me belly laugh and roll my eyes in exasperated affection, her unique blend of sass and faith don't carry the same punch for me. Perhaps it's because I've discontinued accepting Jesus as my personal Lord and savior, but anyway.
