This is the second book in the "Southern Sisters" series, and the first I've read. The banter between the sisters is sharp, witty and will leave you amused and laughing. The characterization in this book is good.

Unfortunately, I didn't find the story line as good. There are some pretty big holes in the plot, and the last part of the story, or the denouement made no sense.

So while I found it laugh-out-loud funny at many times, I found the actual mystery plot lacking.

I love cozies, but I'd only recommend this if you want a light read that's funny, but don't expect much from the story itself.

I liked the characters (the two sisters) in this novel, but I would agree with Pyan that the mystery itself was lacking something. I continually put the book down when a better one passed my way, and it took me much lomger to read than I had anticipated.
