The Crepes of Wrath

Meet the mystery sleuth of Tamar Myers’ Pennsylvania Dutch series. Her name is Magdalena Yoder, one of 5 Magdalena Yoders in Hernia, Pennsylvania. But unlike the other Magdalena Yoders this one is a Mennonite innkeeper and shrewd businesswoman.
She caters to a more affluent crown who have the money to get away from it all. Most of her guests are Hollywood celebrities or other high-profile figures escaping paparazzi. She offers them all A.L.P.O. (Amish Lifestyle Plan Option) For an extra fee they can clean their own rooms, collect eggs, milk the cows and make their own meals. Invariably, they pay through the nose for the chance to try their hands at being Amish. Anything to be trendy.
Like many other popular series, the Pennsylvania Dutch mysteries also contain recipes.
With ten novels in this series and a handful of books in her Den of Antiquity series, the real mystery is why Tamar Myers isn’t more well-known.

Got this from Pyan's Bookbox.....I've never read any books like this, so it will be a new reading experience for me. Looking forward to it.
I had passed this on to Fishin who didn't care for it....I then tried reading it but just can't get into it. Just not my kind of book.
