The full Larkin orchestra back on the rural fiddle, with the addition of the Brigadier and the glam Angela Snow.
This is a good-natured, rollicking tale set in the English countryside, and I am releasing it for Misty, the niece of dawnmomoffour.
The title is from Blake, Songs of Innocence:
When the green woods laugh with the voice of joy,
and the dimpling stream runs laughing by;
When the air does laugh with our merry wit,
And the green hill laughs with the noise of it
Just down from my office is a wooded hill called Montriond, which sounds like Montriant, Laughing Hill. There is a superb view over town and lake from the top, around the sides are: a church and a library, garden allotments, a school, the botanical garden, a large park and a children's playground. It seems to me a suitable place for releasing this book.
