Very good book about a secret that, when found, can destroy a lot of lives. Janie was 17 when she was strangled to death. Her mother, Rachel, believes she knows who did it, but she is far wrong. Perfect Cecelia finds out it was her husband when he was 17, and it was an accident. So, now what? Tell or not tell, Rachel is trying to get the wrong man put behind bars, and he doesn't have an alibi. How could Cecelia's world come crashing down around her (and those who surround her, expect for John-Paul, can't figure out what's going on). What if one small action of yours today, causes repercussions down the road? Good story, with lots to think about.
