This has been sitting on my bookshelf for a long time, possibly passed to me by my Mum.
An interesting story about a young woman who had acid thrown over her and was raped by her obsessive boyfriend. Katie was a very self absorbed and beautiful young woman who paid a terrible price for her beauty. A story of courage which was life-changing for Katie who ended up becoming a beautiful young woman inside rather than just on the surface. She learned the value of good friends and family and now leads a very meaningful life.
