Abduction

This book was weird, but really really good. Robin Cook usually writes about medical stuff, but in this book he is writing about society and intelligent life besides humankind. Ironically, the humans he chose to represent our species in this book are probably the least intelligent humans I have read about. The clumsiness of one of the explorers practically parallel's Lenny's wreckless nature in Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. I am glad I read this one though. It opened my eyes to a different perspective on sex, loving, and relationships. It also took me into the ocean depths, a place that I have never been. I was fascinated by it!
This book was requested by aset01. I will hold it for her. I did request a Tai Chi book, a French Language Dictionary, and a local Newspaper in exchange. I offered Acceptable Risk as well as a local paper to even up the score. Hope to confirm these arrangements soon and send this out to her.
