I am confused; I had thought this was the first book in a series but now I discover that it is the first of the series to be translated into English! So, I have ordered the real first in series and will have to restart my reading from the beginning when it arrives :o). Well, I now think that Harry Hole is a good new find and I intend to persevere, even though the Norwegian references are difficult to say in my head and thus to remember. The plot was involved and interesting and the characters believable, so, all good.
