Recent Book Activity

I live in a tiny village in the rolling valleys north east of Leicester. It is the Quorn Hunt country, although we see little of them nowadays. I love to walk in this beautiful countryside and am amazed every day how lovely it is.

I am married with 2 sons in their 20s, one is living in London and setting out as an illustrator and the other has returned home after finishing his engineering degree! Our house is full of books; there isn't a room without them on their shelves or overspilling onto tables, chairs and of course the floor. I read anything but Sci Fi ( well that's not true either because I'll read any Terry Pratchett, loved Ursula Le Guin, touched on Asimov and adored Frank Herbert's Dune series - and the computer games too) and my husband reads Sci Fi and selected others. I do a bit of knitting and gardening, am quite involved in our village activities, love to travel and eat out.
