Going out in BigJohnLefty's Another Audiobookbox.
This was quite an intriguing listen..... I liked the development of all the characters (for some reason, stories with tons of people in them really intrigue me).
Again, without giving away the ending, I liked the way it turned out....
This was definitely unique in terms of plot and such - so many things I listen to have lots of commonalities (I do seem to listen to so many murder mystery/thrillers) in them, so this stood out in that regard too....

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Am putting this into my "another CD-Only AudioBookBox" for round two! Hope this finds a good home!
Have heard a lot about this book, so now it shows up in the box I'll give it a try.
The story starts out with a band of terrorists breaking into a party held at the home of the country's vice president, in an unspecific South American country. As the story progresses, the characters are fleshed out, each a vivid portrait of someone with stories and emotions. Along the way, the author drops hints here and there, suggesting of what may come and continuing to hook the readers. A really interesting read, beautifully written. I can't say I like the ending, but I guess that's what's logical.

I've had this for a while, but just realized it never got a journal entry. Thanks for sending.
Looking forward to listening to this audiobook!! Thank you for sending it my way!!
Happy listening!!!
Arrived several days ago. Thanks for sharing -- I'm looking forward to it.
At first it seemed like an interesting case study in hostage/captor relationships, but then became much more -- a reminder of how easy it is to become an opera fan, a class in French cuisine, an exploration of the challenges in multi-cultural relationships, and a love letter to... LOVE.
I have some cultured friends who I think will appreciate this story, so I'm passing it on to them.
This was a hit with my friend, who also expressed surprise at the twist in the epilogue.

Removed from the VBB, maybe the first contribution to my proposed front yard LFL...?
