This book was a christmas present and I thought why? because I‘m not a landrover fan and have never done such kind of travel.
But I really enjoyed reading this book, the descriptions of so many fantastic landscapes and some small history lessons dropped in for good measure. And of course the relations within the group and with the members who could not participate in this last journey.
So in the end a book that surprised me.

[Later. Yes, I shamelessly claimed that I had been born and (later) married in a Land-Rover. I thought I might add that I had died in a Land-Rover, peacefully in my sleep unlike my passengers, but I didn't think anyone would believe that bit.]

Was given to me after the book crossing after the guy that won it, having given a very convincing appeal that he really wanted the book (Saying things like he had been born in a landrover) when he didn't really and was hoping someone would steal it from him! LOL! I will enjoy it as I do like travel journals.
