Bookcrossing ist ein Projekt zur kostenlosen Weitergabe von Büchern an bekannte, in der Regel aber an unbekannte Personen. Über eine zentrale Datenbank auf der Website des Projekts kann dabei der Weg des Buches von allen vorherigen Besitzern verfolgt werden.
