Hello, I just finished The Constant Gardner by John Le Carre. I didn't quite get the last few lines in which he refers to "a whiff of a Sportsman cigarette". Do you know who this refers to? Thanks!

I mean I know it's either Lorbeer, or Curtiss or Crick or one of their cronies- but who specifically smokes those cigarettes. I can't find another reference to those cigarettes in the book!

Just finished "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea". This was my first Jules Verne. ..good but too much scientific detail regarding biological classification - skimmed those parts! Searching for my next read.
