but men seldom realised it when caught by her charm as the Tarleton twins were. I think most here will probably be able to guess the book, but for those who can't it's Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.

to find a book lying around and then discover that it was left there for the finder to keep, so I can well imagine someone's day being brightened.

At any rate, if you're referring to the individual thin strips of silvery stuff, YES, it's a real danger for cats. Worst case, it can be fatal.
Yeah, that stuff. We've never used it again…

I managed to read the ten books set as a baseline in this years thread, but not to read 2 book per month, which was my personal challenge. I'd like to take that challenge up again, and see if I can manage it, though …

What is lametta, please?
It's like tinsel that comes in strips, and hangs off of the branch, rather than being wrapped around the tree. Very pretty, but makes for terrible cat food!
