Unfortunately it's taking me some time to read. The words, sentences don't seem to 'flow' and I'm stuttering and jerkily reading this tale. I'll finish it though!

Finishing Yellowface by Rebecca Kuang.
It's not set me on fire but It's mostly kept my interest. Way too much about Publishing in the USA and not enough back story. It was a loan for one of my Book Clubs so I felt that I've had to read it.

1. The Edge - David Baldacci
2. The Burnout - Sophie Kinsella
3. The Cutting Season - M W Craven
4. The Foundling - Stacey Halls

I've started a book club choice which I've borrowed from a friend.
It's Yellowface by Rebecca F Kuang. Not even 50 pages in yet but it's looking OK. I need to wizz through it as it's book club on Tuesday!

This Lovely City by Louise Hare. It's a book club read but looks interesting. it's also a library book.

The bookbox has arrived!
There was some crossing out and big black postcodes written on by Royal Mail but it's here! There was enough of the address correct for the posties to sort it out and deliver it to me.

We bookcrossers do worry about each other when one of us goes Quiet. Take care and have a speedy recovery.x

I've nearly finished The Governor by Vanessa Frake
Billed as 'my life inside Britain's most notorious prisons' Ghost written by Ruth Kelly.
This lady really enjoyed her job, especially when giving out punishment to prisoners who had caused her grief.
